Święta Bożego Narodzenia na Cyprze są obchodzone głównie w południowej części wyspy.

Christmas in Cyprus is celebrated mainly in the southern part of the island.

Przed Świętami, na południowej stronie wyspy, w sklepach, można znaleźć bardzo dużo przedmiotów, zabawek, słodyczy, pamiątek dotyczących Świąt, jak również można zakupić artykuły niezbędne do przygotowania Świąt, świąteczny asortyment w sklepach jest bowiem duży. Atmosfera zbliżających się Świąt Bożego Narodzenia jest powszechna, w wielu miejscach (na ulicach, placach, w centrach handlowych, sklepach, firmach, restauracjach, kościołach, instytucjach) można zobaczyć świąteczne choinki i inne elementy dotyczące Świąt Bożego Narodzenia, jak również usłyszeć świąteczną muzykę (np. w supermarketach).

Before Christmas, on the south side of the island, in stores, you can find a lot of items, toys, sweets, souvenirs relating to Christmas, and you can purchase items necessary to prepare Christmas, because festive assortment in stores is large. The atmosphere of upcoming Christmas is common in many places (streets, squares, shopping centers, stores, businesses, restaurants, churches, institutions), you can see the Christmas trees and other items for the Christmas holidays, as well as hear Christmas music (eg. in supermarkets).

23, a zwłaszcza 24 grudnia w sklepach można napotkać tłumy ludzi na świątecznych zakupach. Na południu wyspy zdecydowanie czuje się atmosferę zbliżających się Świąt Bożego Narodzenia. 24 grudnia sklepy na Cyprze Południowym są otwarte do godzin popołudniowych, a 25 i 26 grudnia wszystkie sklepy, firmy i instytucje są zamknięte.

In 23 and especially 24 of December in stores may encounter crowds of people on Christmas shopping. In the south of the island definitely you feel the approaching Christmas. December, 24, stores in Southern Cyprus are open until the afternoon, 25 and 26 of December all the shops, businesses and institutions are closed.

Na północnej stronie wyspy (Cypr Północny) atmosfera zbliżających się Świat nie jest oczywiście tak odczuwalna jak na południu. Na ulicach (np. na rondach) i w niektórych miejscach (np. hotele) można zobaczyć choinki, ozdobne kule, elementy dekoracyjne dotyczące Nowego Roku. W sklepach można kupić choinki i świąteczne ozdoby. 25 i 26 grudnia sklepy, firmy i instytucje pracują normalnie.


On the north side of the island (Northern Cyprus) upcoming Christmas atmosphere is obviously not as noticeable as in the south. On the streets (eg. at roundabouts) and in some places (eg. hotels) you can see Christmas trees, decorative bowls, decorative items for the New Year. In the shops you can buy Christmas trees and Christmas ornaments. 25 and 26 of December shops, businesses and institutions are operating normally.
