Przebywając na północnej części wyspy warto wybrać się na lokalny bazar. Bazary można spotkać w różnych miejscach na Północnym Cyprze i odbywają się one zwykle w określone dni tygodnia, np. w Famaguście bazar jest w czwartki.
Na bazarze możesz znaleźć lokalne produkty, sprzedawane zwykle bezpośrednio przez rolników. Dzięki temu możesz nabyć świeże produkty (na przykład owoce "zerwane prosto z drzewa") w atrakcyjnych cenach.
Na bazarze możesz np. znaleźć:

- 1 kg chestnuts at a price of 10 lira
and what should be of interest to tourists:
- 1 kg of dried salted almonds in the shell at a price of 35 lira,
- 1 kg of dried pistachios in the shell at 50 lira,
- 1 kg of dried dates, costs 30 lira.
