Cypryjska Giełda Papierów Wartościowych/The Cyprus Stock Exchange

Cypryjska Giełda Papierów Wartościowych (grecki: Χρηματιστήριο Αξιών Κύπρου lub ΧΑΚ, turecki: Kıbrıs Menkul Kıymetler Borsası lub KMKB) powstała na podstawie ustaw i przepisów, które zostały przyjęte w 1993 i w 1995 roku. Pierwsza sesja giełdowa na Cypryjskiej Giełdzie Papierów Wartościowych odbyła się 29 marca 1996 r. W 2006 roku Cypryjska Giełda Papierów Wartościowych utworzyła wspólną platformę z giełdą ateńską.

Cyprus Stock Exchange (Greek: Χρηματιστήριο Αξιών Κύπρου or ΧΑΚ, Turkish: KIbrIs Menkul Kıymetler Borsası or KMKB) was established pursuant to the laws and regulations that were adopted in 1993 and again in 1995. The first trading session on the Cyprus Stock Exchange took place on 29 March 1996. In 2006, the Cyprus Stock Exchange has set up a common platform with the Athens Stock Exchange.

Siedziba Cypryjskiej Giełdy Papierów Wartościowych znajduje się w Nikozji. Sesje giełdowe odbywają się w godzinach: 10:00 - 17:00, od poniedziałku do piątku, z wyjątkiem świąt (giełda jest nieczynna w soboty i w niedziele).

Head of the Cyprus Stock Exchange is located in Nicosia. Sessions are held between the hours: 10:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays (stock market is closed on Saturdays and Sundays).

Giełda prowadzi rynek regulowany dla akcji (m.in. rynek główny i rynek alternatywny) i obligacji oraz rynek nieregulowany.  Na giełdzie notowane są m.in. cypryjskie banki, spółki deweloperskie, operatorzy hotelowi, firmy naftowe, cementownie i spółki budowlane.

CSE operates a regulated market of shares (including the main square and alternative market), bonds and non-regulated market. The stock market listed include Cypriot banks, real estate companies and hotel operators, oil companies, cement and construction companies.

Kapitalizacja Cypryjskiej Giełdy Papierów Wartościowych wynosi 3 267 698 758,73 euro (stan na dzień 15 stycznia 2016 r.), a obrót na giełdzie jest niewielki (w porównaniu do np. giełdy w Warszawie czy też w Stambule) i wynosi (średnio) kilkaset tysięcy euro dziennie (np. w dniu 15 stycznia 2016 r.: 216 368,34 euro). Obrót zwykle koncentruje się na kilku, największych pod względem kapitalizacji, spółkach.

The capitalization of the Cyprus Stock Exchange is 3 267 698 758.73 euros (as of January 15, 2016.) and the turnover on the stock exchange is small (compared to eg. the stock exchanges in Warsaw and in Istanbul) and is (on average) a few hundred thousands of euros a day (eg. on January 15, 2016: 216 368.34 euros). Turnover usually focuses on a few, the largest in terms of capitalization, companies.

Głównymi uczestnikami Giełdy są członkowie Cypryjskiej Giełdy Papierów Wartościowych (biura maklerskie), emitenci oraz inwestorzy.

The main participants are members of the Cyprus Stock Exchange (brokers), issuers and investors.
