Dlaczego najwięcej turystów przyjeżdża w lipcu, w sierpniu i we wrześniu?
Lipiec i sierpień to oczywiście tradycyjnie wakacyjny czas. Wrzesień (i październik) jest dobrym czasem na przyjazd na wyspę, ponieważ słońce wciąż świeci mocno, można kąpać się w morzu (woda jest nawet cieplejsza niż w lipcu, a nawet w sierpniu), nie jest jednak już tak gorąco jak w lipcu i w sierpniu. Dlaczego najmniej turystów przyjeżdża w styczniu, lutym i w grudniu? Styczeń i luty to najzimniejsze miesiące w roku na Cyprze, np. dzisiaj jest słonecznie, lecz zimno, temperatura wynosi 7 stopni Celsjusza i wszyscy chodzą w ciepłych ubraniach. Wieczorem temperatura prawdopodobnie jeszcze spadnie o kilka stopni, a w nocy, zgodnie z prognozami wyniesie 3 stopnie Celsjusza. Ochłodzenie rozpoczęło się kilka dni temu. Zazwyczaj nie trwa ono długo, jednak różnica temperatury jest wyraźnie odczuwalna. Grudzień, pomimo częstych deszczowych dni, jest zwykle cieplejszy niż styczeń i luty, stąd jest to miesiąc lepszy na przyjazd na wyspę.
